3M™ Fire Barrier Composite Sheet CS-195+ is a flexible, lightweight and re-enterable firestop solution designed to seal penetrations and openings in fire-rated walls and floors. Measuring 16 in x 28 in, this intumescent composite sheet is engineered for demanding commercial, industrial and multi-service applications.
When exposed to high temperatures, the CS-195+ expands and forms a durable protective char that helps seal around penetrations and limit the passage of flame, smoke and hot gases through fire-rated assemblies. When installed as part of an applicable tested system, it can provide up to 4 hours of fire protection.
The flexible laminated construction can be easily cut, shaped and fitted around complex or irregular openings using standard trade tools. It is suitable for blank openings, oversized penetrations, cable trays, conduit bundles, HVAC ductwork and other common building-service penetrations.
Its re-enterable design makes CS-195+ particularly useful in areas where cables and services may need to be modified or added in the future. This makes it an excellent choice for data centres, telecommunications rooms, electrical rooms, mechanical rooms and industrial facilities.
