The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 1169F Flap Disc is the next-generation replacement for the popular 3M™ Cubitron™ II 969F 40+ Flap Disc. It maintains the same 5" x 7/8" size, T27 flat configuration and 40+ grit, while introducing 3M's latest Cubitron 3 abrasive technology.
The 1169F features 3M Precision-Shaped Grain re-engineered with curved sides, designed to cut faster and maintain a high cut rate throughout the life of the disc. On carbon steel, 3M reports that the Cubitron 3 1169F can remove up to 49% more total material than the previous-generation Cubitron II 969F 40+.
The durable polyester backing and flap-disc design provide a combination of fast cutting, long life, conformability and controlled grinding, making the 1169F an excellent choice for demanding metalworking applications.
