 The 3M™ Fire Barrier Moldable Putty Pad MPP+ is a ready-to-use, one-part firestop solution designed to protect electrical boxes, wall openings, and other penetrations from the spread of fire, smoke, and toxic gases. Measuring 4” x 8” and 1/10” (2.54 mm) thick, this pliable, intumescent pad is conformable by hand—no mixing or tools required—making installation quick and cost-effective.

Ideal for metallic and non-metallic electrical boxes, insulated pipes, conduits, and cable bundles (including fiber optic inner duct), the MPP+ pad adheres well to most construction materials and is non-corrosive to metal. It remains soft and re-enterable for easy retrofits, repairs, or cable changes, without crumbling or drying out.
