The 3M™ Scotchfil™ Electrical Insulation Putty comes in a tape form that is used to insulate irregular surfaces like fittings and valves. This self-fusing, electrical-grade tape can be stretched or wrapped and helps to insulate connections up to 600V. It withstands a wide temperature range of 32°F to 176°F (0°C to 80°C).

3M™ Scotchfil™ Electrical Insulation Putty is a 125 mil (3.18 mm) thick, non-corrosive, mastic adhesive that offers optimized adherence. This tape shaped putty has outstanding aging properties and is ideal for creating a resin dam at resin pressure joints. It helps to seal multi-conductor cable connections, as well as wire exits at high voltage joints. This tape is RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
